Many of my songs were inspired by the Australian wilderness and some written during protests to save old growth forests.
Wild places are not just an inspiration to me, but like an ancestral home and a necessity that I feel drawn to try and protect - not just for obvious scientific and human needs - but for the awe and kinship of belonging to a broader community of rivers, sky, forest, oceans, animals and plants that directly informs me on the unseparated nature of reality.
